Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronometer 'James Bond'

It's OMEGA and James Bond – what's not to love? The partnership between these two touchstones of culture and style has stretched over 25 years, nine films, and a wide range of commemorative watch releases in the Seamaster family.

Unlike other watch partnerships that feel forced or inauthentic, the one between Omega Seamaster Diver 300M and James Bond simply works. It's a genuine relationship that goes back to the desires of the costume department on GoldenEye, in 1995, who requested a watch that would reflect Bond's military background. Given OMEGA's historic relationship as a supplier to the British Armed Forces, the brand was a natural fit, and a Seamaster has adorned the wrist of James Bond from Pierce Brosnan, in 1995, all the way up to Daniel Craig, in the upcoming "No Time To Die."
This is it, this is the GoldenEye watch seen on Pierce Brosnan's wrist. From the waves on the dial to the twisted lugs, there is so much to love about this watch that has come to embody OMEGA's brand presence in the 1990s and early 2000s. The bracelet is something to write home about and nearly unique within the history of Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, this ultra-comfortable piece of metal has become a real favorite of collectors.

This particular Omega Seamaster Diver 300M is in very good pre-owned condition with some visibly heavy wear around the blue bezel insert as well as a scratch in the anti-reflective coating on the crystal near the 12 o'clock position. There is some warm patina on the lume material. There are a few scratches and dings on the bracelet clasp, around the bezel, and along both sides of the case. Overall, the watch presents in worn but good condition. The rear of the lugs are marked from bracelet removal and strap changes. The rear of the seven o'clock lug is marked with the serial number, "80610XXX." During our quality control check, any necessary adjustments are made to ensure the watch is functioning as intended.
In 1894, La Generale Watch Company developed a system for interchangeable movement parts, which it marketed as the OMEGA brand from La Generale Watch Company. This brand proved to be very successful, and in 1903, OMEGA was spun off into its own company. In the following decades, OMEGA went on to become not only one of Switzerland’s largest and best-known watchmakers but also one of the world's most recognizable global brands. The most pivotal period for OMEGA came in the 1960s when America's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) chose the OMEGA Speedmaster for the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon. This achievement, paired with its regular timing of both the summer and winter Olympic Games, has bestowed upon OMEGA a global reputation as a maker of precision timekeepers trusted to perform when performance matters most.
