Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph With

First released in 1993 as an evolution to the iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Royal Oak Offshore has become one of the most popular and identifiable watches in modern watch collecting.

In the collections of some of the world's most famous men – from actors and musicians to athletes and artists – the Offshore is known for its larger-than-life personality on the wrist. Its 40mm+ case size helped endear it to anyone who wanted their watch to be identified from across the room rather than hidden on their wrist. The Offshore also quickly became a platform for Audemars Piguet's material experimentation – grade 5 titanium, carbon fiber, and more all became common in the collection.

In its most classic form, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph hasn't changed much since its debut. But what we have seen is a gradual tightening and refinement of what an Offshore can be. After years of experimentation and a reputation that borders on being the enfant terrible of the Swiss watch industry, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph has become an icon in its own right.
Today's Royal Oak Offshore is one of the more recent production examples to be released. Introduced in 2020, it features a lightweight grade 5 titanium case enhanced by a grey ceramic bezel and ceramic inserts on the chronograph pushers. The Offshore's recognizable "mega Tapisserie" dial is rendered in grey with dark blue accents for a cool and eye-catching look.

This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore is in overall excellent pre-owned condition, which indicates that there are signs of very light wear, possibly some small scratches on the case. The case has been professionally refinished. During our quality control check, any necessary adjustments are made to ensure the watch is functioning as intended.

The watch also comes with its original Audemars Piguet box, papers, and manuals.
Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet founded Audemars, Piguet et Cie, in 1875. To this day, members of the two families remain on the Audemars Piguet board of directors, making the brand one of the oldest family-run companies in the entire Swiss watch industry. Located in Le Brassus, Switzerland, since its inception, Audemars Piguet is considered one of Swiss watchmaking's Holy Trinity and is one of the most popular brands in all of contemporary watch collecting. The designer Gérald Genta created the Royal Oak for Audemars Piguet in 1972, and today, the classic sport watch with an integrated bracelet has become one of the most collectible watches from any brand.
